If you need some last-minute cocktail inspiration for your holiday gatherings, check out these three recipes from our resident mixologist, Dimitrios Zahariadis. They are easy to make with easy to find ingredients. We’re sure your guests will enjoy every sip!
2.0 oz. Litchfield Distillery Vodka
0.25 oz. Elderflower Liqueur
0.25 oz. Dry Vermouth
1.0 oz. Spiced Cranberry Syrup
0.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Optional: Absinthe Mist, one spray in glass
Method: Combine all ingredient, shake and strain into coupe or martini glass. Garnish with rosemary sprig.
0.75 oz. Litchfield Distillery Vanilla Bourbon
0.75 oz. Litchfield Distillery Cinnamon Bourbon
3.0 oz. Eggnog (We recommend Arethusa Eggnog if you can get your hands on it)
Method: Combine all ingredients and shake. Strain into rocks glass (or festive glass of choice), add large ice cube and grate fresh nutmeg over top.
SWEET OL’ FASHIONED
2.0 oz. Litchfield Distillery Maple Bourbon
0.25 oz. Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup **
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
** Combine 8 oz water, 16oz light brown sugar, 2 cinnamon sticks, 10 whole cloves, 15 whole black peppercorn, and peel of one orange in saucepan. Bring to boil, and turn off heat to let cool. Once cool, strain and refrigerate.
Method: Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain into chilled cocktail glass and garnish with orange peel.
