Litchfield Distillery expands distribution to Illinois
Litchfield Distillery announced its first major expansion outside of the northeast region. The Litchfield County-based distillery has partnered with BigFish to sell its award-winning spirits direct to consumers throughout the state of Illinois on the BigFish Spirits website and mobile app.
BigFish sells more than 800 carefully curated craft spirits from 150+ independent distillers from around the world. Customers can purchase craft spirits through BigFish and have them shipped directly to their door anywhere within the state of Illinois.

BigFish carries nine Litchfield Distillery spirits on its site, including eight of the distillery’s bourbons, plus their vodka. The bourbon lineup includes Litchfield Distillery’s Straight Bourbon Whiskey, their flavored bourbon offerings, and their two super-premium bottles, 10-Year Double-Barreled Bourbon and Port Cask Finish Bourbon.

Litchfield Distillery spirits have won awards from prestigious judging events from New York to San Francisco. The New York International Spirits Competition crowned Litchfield Distillery as “2018 Connecticut Distillery of the Year.” The distillery’s Cask-Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey earned a double-gold medal from The Fifty Best’s Best Bourbon 2019 tasting event.
The distillery still remains highly focused on growing its business in the northeast. Litchfield Distillery spirits can be found in over 1,000 locations in Connecticut, with growing distribution in New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
