Litchfield Distillery Honey Barrel Finished Gin

Litchfield Distillery is proud to announce a special limited release of Honey Barrel Finished Gin. The release coincides with the return of spring, which marks the unofficial start of “gin season.”

Our Gin is one of the most awarded expressions in our portfolio. It is born from luscious Connecticut-Grown corn and infused with juniper berries, coriander, elderberry, and fresh, hand-peeled orange and grapefruit zest.

“One of our Gin’s unique differences is that we incorporate fresh citrus zest,” said David Baker, Co-Partner of Litchfield Distillery. “Some gin producers use dried zest, but we choose to take the time to infuse with orange and grapefruit zest that has been freshly peeled here at the distillery.” This approach helps create a wonderful citrusy signature taste that so many adults have come to enjoy over the years.

Resting our Gin in honey barrels further enhances its signature profile with distinctive sweet, earthy notes that complement the juniper and citrus flavors. It is smooth, yet complex to enjoy on ice and certainly will be fun to incorporate into craft cocktails.
