Imagine having your very own barrel of bourbon, hand-selected by you and your group. With our Private Barrel Selection Program, that dream becomes a reality. Whether you're teaming up with your bourbon club, friends, family, or coworkers, this is a rare opportunity to create something truly personal and unforgettable—a treasure you can share as a gift or on special occasions.
There are three ways to engage with the selection process:
1. Private Tasting and Selection at the Distillery
Begin with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our distillery. Afterward, you’ll sample from a curated selection of barrels, ranging from 2 to 6 years—it’s your choice. Older barrels often have more “angel’s share” resulting in deeper flavor (and a higher price), making each cask selection entirely unique. Once your group agrees on the perfect barrel, we’ll bottle it just for you. Most barrels are bottled at either 92 or 118 proof and bottle yield will vary based on your final proof. Generally speaking, we yield between 225 — 300 bottles per barrel. In addition, if you choose, your group can participate in the bottling process! Help us bottle your bourbon, sign labels, and apply a custom secondary label to your bottles with your group’s name and logo (optional).
2. Pick a Barrel and Let It Age
Similar to option 1, enjoy a distillery tour and select a barrel. Instead of bottling, you can choose to let your barrel mature further. Place a deposit, and your barrel will continue to age in the Distillery’s rickhouse. You’ll have the exclusive privilege of visiting your barrel, tasting its progress, and deciding when it’s at its peak for bottling. This hands-on experience ensures your bourbon is aged exactly to your group’s preference.
3. Sample at Home
Can’t make it to the distillery? No problem. We can ship barrel samples directly to you (where permitted by law). Each sample will be labeled with the corresponding barrel number and key information, allowing you and your group to choose the perfect one from the comfort of home. Once selected, we will bottle your barrel and ship it to a distributor or retailer in your state.
